In one building of the complex that runs through the center of this 18-city block complex, robots insert red-hot steel slabs into giant presses that turn them into gear-shaped blanks. But at utility-scale solar sites, Insulation Contractor and safety concerns are largely behind the decision to deploy these robotic installers. And the developers that are using them say they hope their workers can work alongside them, long term.
